The Walkabout is a large, curved (kidney bean shaped) microwavable/freezer pack with two baffle seams to hold organic filling in place. The Walkabout has a fleece outer shell. The fleece is soft against the skin while the moist heat calms aches & pains, facilitates better circulation and allows the body to relax. (See FAQ'S for benefits of using fleece rather than cotton.)

Uses:
The Walkabout is wonderfully soothing for the neck & shoulders, lower back, hip or knee joints. After a sports injury or 'fender bender,' your doctor or physical therapist may recommend using a hot/cold pack (perhaps alternating the heat and cold).
If you suffer from Facial Neuralgias, the Walkabout, or its' smaller counterpart, the Eye Pillow, could be a beneficial addition to your other therapies. This is a recommended treatment found on the www.facial-neuralgias.org ("Patient To Patient") Website, under "Treatments: Hot/Cold Compresses."
